Melbourne record label @plexusmelb releases their first VA Compilation titled "Scorched Earth" as a fundraiser for the Wildlife and First Nations people of Australia.

At the turn of the new year in 2020, Australia was ravaged by a series of devastating wildfire fronts that could easily be observed from space. The east coast was particularly hard hit by unthinkable losses to both flora and fauna.

It is obvious to many that the global rising temperatures have magnified what was part of the natural cycle of the bush, though many believe there was more at play than just global warming. We believe more could be done to collaborate and learn from the traditional inhabitants of these lands.

At the time of the release of this compilation, Australia has now passed the immediate emergency period but understand that the recovery process is still taking place and there are people and wildlife rescue centres in need. We are hopeful that our financial efforts can have an immediate impact but also minimise the risks to future situations.

PLEXUS presents to you a list of carefully curated material to give a voice to their natural land and the living beings that have been affected by these environmental changes.

Plexus is a raw, industrial techno night run @discarnateaus and his partner, that focuses on the raw, industrial and harder sides. Operating out of Melbourne, Australia whilst being heavily influenced by the European scene.

Windeskind, the Prince of the Wind" bourgeois Dominik Fritsch was born in 1992. Growing up with Euro Dance, he developed more and more and started over the years towards electronic dance music. At the age of 16 years he began deejaying to online web radio stations like Beatnight.at or Musicbase.fm. With his majority, he was allowed to play the first time as a newcomer in the "Codex" in Achern. On his 20th birthday he was one of the first DJs ever, the "Hausbar" recorded in Lahr. After the „Hausbar“ it went uphill. Windeskind became a member of the booking agency "Blanc Booking" and recorded in the "Culteum" in Karlsruhe. There he was resident for an half year. After that many bookings followed. He played in the "Inside" in Emmendingen, in the "Universal DOG" in Lahr, in the "KGB" in Freiburg, in the "London Underground" in Ludwigshafen, the "Gotec" in Karlsruhe , "Hype" in Stuttgart , "Club27" in Tübingen and the "Ms Connexion" in Mannheim. Now you can hear him all over Germany. In 2012 he began to produce. Now he Produce for Labels like Reload, Gain, Egothermia Records, Fresh Cut,IAMT, Rewasted, Animarum Records, Affenkäfig Records, Sinope Recordings and many more. By his ambition and individuality with regard to his sound, he goes full throttle on his way in the future ....
