"Creating my Deep Breakfast mix was a mystical experience for me. Blending songs and adding field recordings became a way to build miniature worlds that together feel like their own new whole. In my everyday life, I go between nature and city and wanted the mix to feel a bit like a concentrated version of what a month in my life can feel like, the ebbs and flows of relaxation, movement and the ongoing sense of vocal melodies coming in and out of view."

First of all happy new year!! That this year brings more light then in 2021. Today I present you the first Ambient Sessions mixtape of 2022!. Cherub makes his debut on the serie with his ethereal mixtape for this months session

'This mix takes its focus away from Cherub's usual 4-to-the-floor environment and concerns itself with themes of child-like wonderment, play and vulnerability. Weaving in samples from crowded beaches, children screaming in delight in playgrounds and running water, a playful yet poignantly meaningful soundscape is created using balaeric-infused, trance-influenced and 90's ambient.'
