"????" dives into shimmering melancholy with a sound that pays homage to The 1975's  "Somebody Else". Blending dreamy textures with raw confessions, Charlotte channels that same bittersweet ache of watching someone slip away while you’re still caught in the aftermath. Vulnerable yet cinematic, ???? marks another step in her evolution - where glossy pop meets the kind of heartbreak that lingers long after the song ends.

No humorous quip this time. I'd like to invite you to reflect on change and the transitive nature of life.

That is what the Japanese phrase Mono No Aware means - the appreciation of impermanence. While I would never claim (unless otherwise noted) that I wrote a track with a specific theme in mind, I feel like that feeling carries through well here.

This track was supposed to be part of an album of similar(ish) music, but the rest of it was going at a glacial pace, this one had been ready for several months (I started it well over a year ago), and I hadn't made any releases yet this year (except for a remix for a contest I didn't end up placing in).

I'm also very proud of the cover art! It took a bit to get working (though, ironically, the base render was gave the least amount of trouble!), but it was absolutely well worth the effort! ^-^
