Lorsque j'étais en France, je pensais faire un prochain album avec des sonorités asiatiques. En arrivant en Asie, en Chine puis en Thaïlande actuellement, j'ai été surpris par le comportement des gens vis à vis de leur environnement. Il y a des sacs plastiques partout, les plages et les rivières sont polluées, les gens jettent leurs déchets là où ils se trouvent sans faire l'effort de jeter à la poubelle la plus proche. Personne ne nettoie, personne ne ramasse, personne ne protège, personne ne respecte. C'est très choquant et triste à la fois. Ceci m'a poussé à sortir cet album dédié à notre pauvre Terre qui est bien malmenée ces temps ci, ainsi qu'à tous les êtres vivants ! Car la détresse de la Terre est notre détresse à tous. Et car nous avons tendance à oublier que l'Homme et ses 3 millions d'années ne représentent que 0,00067% des 4.5 milliards d'années de l'âge de la Terre ! 


Cet album est très varié dans les genres musicaux, tout en restant axé sur la musique électro principalement. Les influences sont très diverses. Même classiques : il y a deux chansons jouées à l'orgue d'église (pipe organ). Les sonorités sont dans l'ensemble toujours assez "Dark" comme on me l'avait fait remarqué pour mon premier album. Donc avis aux amateurs ! Et désolé pour les autres, mais qui sait, tentez une écoute et peut-être que vous changeriez d'avis ? Tout ce que je souhaite c'est de parvenir à vous faire ressentir ma tristesse sur le sort de notre pauvre Terre

When I was in France, I wanted my next album to have some asian influence. When I arrived in Asia, in China and in Thailand, the people's behavior about their environment surprised me. There are plastic bags everywhere, beaches and rivers are polluted to a level you can't imagine, the inhabitants throw their rubbish right where they stand without making the effort to move to the nearest trash bin. Nobody cleanses, nobody picks up the rubbish, nobody protects or respects the environment. It's a very shocking and sad thing to see. This motivated me to release this album dedicated to our poor and bullied Earth, as well as all the living beings. Because the distress of the Earth is the distress of all of us. And because we tend to easily forget that Mankind and its 3 millions of years represent only 0.00067% of 4.5 billions of years, the age of the Earth! 



This album is quite diversified in musical genres, but is mainly axed on electro music. The influences are diverse, even classical: there are two songs played with a church organ (or pipe organ). The tracks are still quite "dark" in general, as people had noticed on my first album. So fans should appreciate this album also :). And sorry for the others, but who knows, try it and maybe you would change your opinion? I just have one wish, that I can make you feel my sorrow about the fate of our poor Earth.

"I love you a bit..." est mon premier album sorti au grand public. 



Des morceaux d'ambient, des mélodies de consoles 8 bits, en passant par de la hardtek expérimentale et une pointe de funk électronique, j'espère que mon premier album vous satisfaira tant par ses tonalités que sa diversité ! 



Cet album est issu des différentes influences musicales que j'ai eu au cours de mon existence, la toute dernière étant le style electro de Binärpilot pour mes morceaux 8 bits. Les mélodies sont quand à elles plutôt inspirées par mon humeur et mes émotions du moment : c'est à dire la solitude, l'angoisse, l'ennui.

"I love you a bit..." is the first album released to the public. 



Ambient tracks, melodies of 8-bits consoles, through some experimental hardtek and a little bit of electronic funk, I hope that my first album will satisfact your ears as much by its tones than by its diversity ! 



This album is the result of the different musical influences I had in my life, the last one being the electronic style of Binärpilot for my 8-bits tracks. The melodies are rather resulting of my temper and emotions of before : loneliness, anxiety, boredom.

This first release of Windpearl was limited to 10 CD albums. For the first time available online on SoundCloud.

The album has normally one more track, "Funky", but it is also available in the album "I love you a bit..." so I haven't uploaded it two times.

Also "Flying instance" is an old remix of the track "1998" from Binary Finary that I made back in 2001.

Windpearl is an electronic music producer. In real life, he is a French programmer called Gabriel Hautclocq, whose music is easily recognizable in the electro scene: dark and atmospheric tracks ranging from zero-beat ambient to hardtek, with chiptune, classical and drum n bass tracks.

His early tracks have been distributed among friends and family only. The first full length album was not released publicly at first, but can now be found online under the name "Echoes of Nothingness".

The next two albums who have been released to the public through various platforms on the web: "I Love You a Bit..." was produced in France, and the second one, "Mother Earth", was produced in Asia (China and Thailand). 

Windpearl moved back to France together with his spouse and released the Fate EP who was originally destined to be a full length album. He also released the album "H.A.P.P. Project" as a side-project.
