The greatest box

Windstorm, the Italian Pop-Rock band, was born in 2002 in Turin.
They took part in many competitions such as: Emergenza Rock " (finalist 2003) and "Pagella Rock" (winners 2005). They played in contexts such as: Extrafestival (opening Moby), Colonia sonora, Reset Festival, Emergenza, Sottodiciotto Film Festival, opening concert of the Mother of Invention and Luca Napolitano.
They played at Hiroshima Mon Amour, Palaruffini, Palatorino and in a lot of clubs placed in Piemonte.
They are guests at "Screensaver" (RAI3) and "Trebisonda" (RAI3).
In 2006 they recorded the demo "Windstorm" at Casasonica.
In 2008 the band started to work with Max Bellarosa (Radio Deejay) to record the first LP.
In 2009 Windstorm took part at Sanremofestival.59, the online competition of the “Festival di Sanremo” with the song "Un sogno per me " and became one of the finalists.
Since 2010 the band collaborated with the project Fakemen (Radio Deejay), Alessio recorded the voices of many jingles and several songs of "Translations", broadcasted weekly on Radio Deejay.
In 2011, the band took part in the competition of San Remo Giovani 2011 with the collaboration of Daniele Ambrosoli (Marlene Kuntz) and the support of Fabrizio Gargarone (Hiroshima Mon Amour, Traffic), but not became one of the eight finalists.
Since august 2011 the band has tooked part of an MTV Italian project (MTV NewGeneration).
Currently the band has finished the recordings of the LP.
