Meet POINDEXTER, an unstoppable force behind the decks, known for delivering electrifying sets that redefine the essence of fast and bouncy techno. With an innate ability to infuse pulsating beats and infectious rhythms at venues such as Thuishaven and Levenslang, POINDEXTER has become a sensation in the Amsterdam techno scene. 

POINDEXTER (noun) means a “person who is boringly studious and socially inept”. However, this POINDEXTER’s music is anything but. Hailing from the vibrant cityscape of Southern California, this energetic DJ has been spinning since 2012, but moved to Amsterdam in 2018 to be closer to the pulse of Europe’s underground techno scene. “My signature style is a fusion of high-octane techno and irresistibly bouncy beats, often infused with rap influences, creating an adrenaline-charged dancefloor experience. I love fast, bouncy, groovy techno where the energy keeps surging higher and higher and the crowd is full of infectious satisfaction.”

From the moment POINDEXTER steps behind the decks, a wave of energy permeates the dancefloor, and captivates the crowd from the first beat to the last. His mixing and track selection showcase a deep understanding of the genre, keeping the dancefloor pulsating with anticipation.

Fresh new sounds in this 17 track set filled with electronic goodness and tacks from various epic labels like Token, Monday Off, Tsunami, Blueprint, Balders Music, Figure, Odd Even....


To start the set The Perlit Flash3P sets in the mix a cinematic mood with a newer release of The Black Dog's recent releases on Dust Science called "Villa Goth Calling" and the immersive cinematic vibe created in the mix with Black Marylin latest vinyl release "Morphic Uniform" a Deep minimal affair which serves as a sonar portal to Dicyde ' "Fluctiations" Perfect blend and dose of ethereal and hypnotic ambient techno labels Lowless is so renowned for. Next on the playlist is Icelandic techno don EXOS with in my opinion Indigo his best album to date filled with Dub techno goodness. Save Your Attol balances out the mood with its crisp beats and a driving atmosphere that pulls you inwards into the mix. To balance the electrifying groove Attomig Moog and "Natural Transition" add to the mix an organic essence. Time for some thriving tracks Chris Honorat's "Dark Watter"  brings refreshing cyclic notes into the mix to allow for a transition into more industrial minimal deep techno tracks such as Bastian BALDER's "Hazy Vision" Fantastic track that can fit many subgenres of today's contemporary techno. Zadig's "Reform 04" contains distopyan / futuristic feel throughout on Construct Reform. To top this up, we are building up the momentum in this vinyl set with an insane groove changer which is Yohanes Heil's "By Night 01" Building up the dark yet driving groove helps us  Slack with "New Horizons" backed up by Christian Wunch  "Venus 2117" adding the underlying audio flare. Inviting Mr Heil for a second time in this set this "By Night 03" This track has got it all. You know the 3 Am moments in the club, Collective swarm rave unity.
2023 has shown some real talent and superb tracks from the Blueprint label, no exception is Temundo and "You Spelled Corn Wrong" exploring some syncopated melodies and grooves. We are getting towards the last thematic part of the mix; what better way to express it in the mix than to include Edit Select and the transformation into a deeper vibe in "Visitors". Kenny Dahl and "Drive" add some marvelous percussive minimal workouts to shake things up and guide the crowd back home from our space exploration.
