Welcome to the Winning Rotation podcast where we try to build the best team for whatever topic.

We’re doing this like a sports draft — five picks each, snake style.
If I have the first pick, Alfred will pick second. In the second round, he’ll pick 1st and I’ll go second, so on and so forth. We’re not necessarily picking from best to worst. We’re just trying to build a winning rotation.

In addition to the first 5 picks for each team, there are 3 bench spots that are filled through free agency. Each of us gets $100 and we’ll take turns bringing an item to the table with a dollar amount that we would pay to add them. So, let’s say we were choosing lists of best fruits.  After the first five picks, if I wanted to add a cranberry to my list, I could add it for $10, but it’s open bidding, and the item goes to the highest bidder.
