Sighting 27 - Badly Needed Change

The last thing I was expecting to find this far out was another survivor.
He came to my camp and had been sitting on a log for presumably hours. 
I put my guard down when I realized he had a striking resemblance to 44th U.S. President Barack Obama. 

You know... Like, from Homestuck.

...I'm lucky it wasn't something more dangerous, or I would have had to abandon the few belongings I still have.

We shared a few stories and miscellaneous foraged berries and nuts over the fire.
I noticed the strange device he was holding onto, but never mentioned it.
Regardless of how lax he was throughout the night, his grip on it remained strong.
After that, we put out the fire, and I returned to my tent as he just sat there and stared off into the horizon.

When dawn came, he was still sat upon that log. When he saw me, he helped himself to a few more nuts before quietly walking away from the campsite, putting the device atop his head. 
As he literally disappeared into the bushes, I understood that there was a good chance I would not ever see him again.
I have no idea if that's good or very, very, very bad. Maybe it's best if I just never find out.
