Before the Tul prayer begins, it is customary to give free rein to violence, shouts, loud and tense music, worshippers letting themselves go and objects being shattered.
This precipitates a particular psychological state that could be likened to deep relaxation: the opening of the inner listening.
The sermon that follows, different each time, revolves around the articulation of apparent contradictions in a style similar to our Taoism. Thus, in the recording we offer you, the first aphorism recites:
"Supreme peace appears as violence".
This part of the celebration is traditionally accompanied by complex rhythmic music. Each worshipper is invited to dance to the rhythm they perceive, slow for some, fast for others, the whole swirl being considered as supreme harmony, everyone's part of the same ensemble but in a way that is unique to each individual.

The Tul prayer

Been making many new tracks the past few weeks so had some real problems on deciding what to upload. Hence the solution was to upload a 3 year old track from May 2022 that is heavily based on speak & spell samples (through the Octatrack), original formant patches from my Planet Earth synth (at the end) + Kraftwerk type sounds from the Waldorf Blofeld. On this release, the Poznań, Poland-born artist Adam Majdecki-Janicki presents his new experiments recorded in February 2023. They are unpretentious journeys through the instruments Adam currently has at hand - electric guitar, drum machines, synthesizers, tapes, bass guitar.

Coming originally from the home-taping, not academic, circles, Adam is a true original. His experiments reflect a busy poetic mind constantly on fire, and are as creative as his best albums, like "Stoned Gypsy Wanderer" (2014), "Eimi" (2020), or "Bard's Woman in the Cool of the Summer Breeze" (2023).

Finding his own self, Adam is as fresh as he has ever been since 1998 - free from all desire to impress and make cutting-edge music, he's simply having fun at Via Kosmische, recording sessions daily, like he was doing 25 years ago - only this time using a computer, not a tape recorder.

His lack of academic approach, and fascination with psychedelia, space rock and Kosmische Musik ensure you will have lots of sound pallettes to discover in these most recent "tapes".

If there is enough interest, a limited CD-R release of this album might see the light of day.

The Loth society is built on the governance and uniting power of divine beauty, embodied by their Empress herself.
Traditionally she offers her beauty to the people during the equinoxes, or occasionally in times of social tension, in a ceremony called "The Empress's Bath", during which she appears in front of them naked.
It is her radiating, extraordinary beauty that maintains and restores social cohesion, with every witness recognizing themselves in it and loving each other as a reflection of it.
