Winston Ward is a singer/songwriter hailing from the city of New York. It has been destined since birth for this talented crooner to share his gift with the world. Born February 5 Winston, like many singers, was raised in the church where his passion for music blossomed. He gives much homage to the late Professor Stuart Ross, the minister of music at Fountain Spring Baptist Church for being a strong presence musically and one of the reasons why Winston starting his musical journey. Growing up in the Bronx, Winston learned early on that very few things are ever given to you in life, especially in the music industry. He understood that if he wanted to "make it" he had to put in the overtime in order for him to get it done. Since his musical "birth" Winston has performed on several stages throughout the New York area. He has even graced many stages overseas. He's shared stages with many gospel and secular artists such as Donnie McClurklin, Andrea Soares, Beenie Man, Shaggy, Amber P. Riley and many others. Winston cites his musical influences to be Luther Vandross, Tank, Musiq Soulchild, Timbaland, Jay-Z, Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan, Kanye West, and James Fontleroy. Many things are in store for Winston. He's planning to launch his #CanISingForYou campaign where he goes all around showcasing his talent to the pedestrians of New York City. He has also released his debut project entitled #CanISingForYou Vol. 1: The Mixtape and has received praised from many blog sites. With his go-getter attitude and fearlessness to succeed by any means necessary Winston WILL be a world renowned artist to look out for in the near future.
