It all began in a shed of a Hawesville home in the spring of 2010. Originally a three piece, Winter League is now an ongoing metamorphosis with a history of personnel changes and fall outs. A band locally acclaimed for incorporating unorthodox methods in a post-hardcore format, energetic live performances, and authentic lyrics. The band as a whole has high standards, which is evident in our recordings. Our first EP “Head Below Water” being recorded in Troy, OH, courtesy of Micah Carli of Hawthorne Heights fame, we knew there was a musical bond between a few radically different personalities. When you listen to our songs, expect intertwining yet punchy guitars. Chase Carlock’s warm, bottom-ended guitar compliments the glassy, bright tones of Kaleb Fulkerson’s guitar work. The drum work of Evan Jackson is consistent, strong, and heavy-handed. All of these elements all brought together by the unanimously praised vocals of Alexander Clark which is neither dainty nor abrasive. After two years of dormancy and ventures into other projects, it is the opportune time for Winter League to awake from a long-waited slumber. We hope you enjoy it.
