It was a stormy day today with snow lowering over the mountains. I was daydreaming about being in thick pine forests, cosy in a thick coat, sitting amongst the pine needles. I took this feeling back home and designed some sounds around it. This is my daydream.

Petite Victory Collective  competition remix of Rome In Reverse track 'Here It's All Over'. 

Reading Rome In Reverse's ideas behind the track I thought it would be nice to play with the stems and create something a bit more lofi and brooding. The vocals reminded me somehow of Iceland, so I wandered down a Múm and Sigur Ros overdriven, resonant soundscape. 
I wanted the listener to be transported to a dark but welcoming natural landscape of jagged mountain tops and deep lakes, all reverberating with sounds. I really enjoyed using the stems from the original, I hope you enjoy ✌️

Here, it's all over // Remix Rome in Reverse

A Cyclical Process From Recovery - equal parts melodic, hypnotic, psychotic. 

The album picks up from where last year's 'His Postcards' left off - crafted from the dissection of discarded loops - guitar, bass, FX, piano and field recordings - creating a new sonic world.

The album has been produced in quite a tumultuous time in my life and marks some strong emotions that needed to be given a voice. Sometimes the hole we get stuck in with depression can only be filled with that which consoles us; for me it is a slow transformation from the pure and clean to the distorted and intense - cathartic and damaging in equal parts.

A Cyclical Process From Recovery exists in contrasts - expansive and focussed, soothing and powerful, it is a dense and emotional piece.

I hope you enjoy listening, it is definitely music to be played late at night, and as loud as you dare.
