When I was younger, my cousin, also a music producer, showed me Rhymes Like Dimes, and this was back when I knew nothing about hip-hop - and it blew my mind.  Years later, I wanted to go back and re-explore DOOM's catalogue, and got into it just about when he passed, in October, so it was a strange feeling to hear of his passing as a newly minted fan.  

RIP MF DOOM.
