Every90Minutes, in conjunction with Gravitas Recordings, has curated a unique compilation of electronic music for an important cause. "Beat ALS" spans 17 tracks across a number of genres with 100% of the proceeds directly benefiting Every90Minutes, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to funding ALS research through music and events. The release features a truly memorable cast of international talent including Bassnectar, BT, Tritonal, Richie Hawtin, Dub FX, John Acquaviva, ill.gates, Matthew Dear, Machinedrum and many more. Track vibes ranging from dubstep to techno meet downtempo and cinematic sections with class, weaving a sense of poetic diversity throughout the album.

We're excited to finally announce the first release (in a long line) of several artists in the SubCarbon Records family.
Subcarbon has selected the tastiest and the crunchiest artists in order to serve you the perfect dish! All kinds of styles are mixed in it. We’ve tried deciding on a selection that will make you travel the world of bass music.
 
Let's talk a little bit about the main artists of this release!

First of all, the master of originality beats, Stenchman. He has been a major name of the Dubstep scene from the very beginning... What could we add to that? We're honoured to have him for the first release of Subcarbon Records, and you'll understand why when listening to his remix.

And now, the guy who is going to make you wait for the drop like a little girl would be waiting for her prom night : Dubloadz! The energy this guy puts into every drop is simply insane. He’s a rising star of the Dubstep scene.

We'll finish the introductions with Lifecycle. His productions are of great value! Never disappointing, he's got the support of many greats producers. Go check his whole work and have a sneak preview of how music will sound in the future.

The rest of the release highlights emergent artists with a big backpack of talent. We're really happy to add Kong Speaks, 4bstr4ck3er, Klaxn and Moukratis to the Subcarbon Familly!

This year has been such a progressive year for me… all thanks to the support of you guys. I wanted to make something special to wrap up 2011 as a way of saying thanks for the tremendous support.

This is a drumstep treatment of Auld Land Syne, an old classic normally sang to bring in the next year. The basslines and synths all follow the same chord structure with some drops to bring the classic up to speed with 2012.

Whether you’re a DJ looking for the perfect track to cue up after the countdown or a drumstep junkie celebrating at the home front, hope this helps bring in your 2012 as big as you’ve made 2011 for me.
