Very excited to debut a new project by local radio host, event curator, DJ and all round beautiful person Claire Dickson. You may know Claire from her work with PBS, where she has presented a wide range quality music on her former show Circling the Sun and as an on again off again co-host of The Breakfast Spread with our friend Milo. She also runs the excellent Listen Here online radio station and is one of the minds behind local dance music event/mix series @luna_blessings with @djluvyou. What a resume! Daphne is Claire's DJ alias for exploring the darker/clubbier sides of electronic music. Keep an eye/ear out for Daphne in a club near you soon :)

Nuestro Planeta co-founder, DJ @lizzy-nice has been carving out more representative and diverse spaces in her local Melbourne scene with her events while establishing herself as an exciting, genre-noncomforming, invigorating DJ. We fell in love with her bass-heavy, percussive-sprinkled yet light and, hip-hop infused sets and couldn't wait to invite her to supply the latest Body Mix. 10 minutes in and we we're already sweating! First ever live synth performance from me, with no computer in sight :) I used a Digitakt for samples and sequencing, Blofeld for gorgeous synthy sounds, Monologue for bassy arps and TR-8S for drums. Hopefully I'll get the chance to play some more live shows soon <3

Floss Dogg of Primer, Astro Girl and WIP Project notoriety, is a genre-spanning DJ with a soft spot for UK sounds. Well known down under with regularly gigs at venues across Melbourne and festivals all over Australia we are very happy to present you this mix which is a potpourri of her favorite genres and represents her wide range of played stylistics which always tickles your ears in some way. DJ Luv You is a non-binary DJ from Birrarunga/Melbourne known for their joyful, disco-dipped music on radio stations like Skylab Radio (All Kinds of Joy show) or the Paris-based LYL Radio (LUNA show). They are a regular booking and active member on the local club scene, even co-founding the bi-monthly club night and mix series LUNA (@luna_blessings), which focuses on curating spaces and booking artists in the womxn, queer and GNC communities. More recently, and as evident by this highly dynamic mix, Ophelia’s ever-evolving taste has seen them experiment and expand into the more playful sides of club and dance music.

"This mix is made up of tracks that have ripped me out of bed on a lazy day or gotten me through a brisk power walk home throughout 2020 & 2021.

'30,000 steps' is in commemoration of the most steps I have ever done in a 24 hour period. Hopefully someone else breaks a sweat listening to this as well.

I like to keep my DJ sets relatively high energy, particularly after the lock down slumber. I've found DJing to be a really great energy release for me and it's definitely something that has been getting me through the transition back to normality.

All Night In Heaven by Bushwacka! is for sure one of my favourites. I'm an absolute sucker for a euphoric breaksy track with an r&b vocal, gets me every time. One of the first records I ever bought was a (very) beat up Bushwacka! 12" so it's close to my heart."
