Dataura Live @ OZORA 2014

This is a preview for my upcoming release, "Elements." The bpms and key's I selected for each track were intended to create an almost seamless chillout environment. I mixed the songs in the preview in this order 1, 8, 2, 7, 3, 6, 4, 5.

The first and eighth track are 90 bpm. the second and seventh are 72, the third and sixth are 67.5/135bpm, and the fourth and fifth are 60/120. 90bpm exactly beatmatches with 72 at 5 beats and 60 at 3 beats a measure. Each track also corresponds with the track preceding and following it in key compatibility, so 1/8, 2/7, 3/6, 4/5 all are pairs of relative keys, and 2 can also be mixed into 1 and 3 as 1 is it's dominant key and 3 is it's subdominant key. And so on with the rest of the tracks, 2 is 3's dominant key and 3 is 4's dominant key, but then 4 and 5 are just relative key's then 5 is 6's subdominant key, as the last four tracks are all in major keys, going back the subdominant route. 

The result is, not only a fun record to listen to as it flows from one track to the next seamlessly almost in bpm and key signature, but also a set of 8 tracks that can be mixed together in an almost infinite number of ways.
