This is all about the changes in modern technology, and how they have impacted how people communicate with each other, and the quality of relationships between people.
We focus on social media, lack of interpersonal communication, and old forms of communicating such as letter writing.


The influence of technology on communication and relationships

One of our most challenging shows. This is not a typical approach to depression. 
In this podcast we list the typical means of depression treatment, and why many people do not get anywhere with the standard approaches.
We talk about happy stickering (wearing a mask), letting go of denial, and the need to appear happy for social acceptance.  This podcast encourages people to be authentic, and start to accept their depression.

Wire Elves Ep 5: Accepting Depression

We take the original story by Edgar Allan Poe - The Fall of the House of Usher and have it read by one of the Wire Elves! Soundscape supplied by horror show "Thrillerbark".
We use method acting to the extent where the voice actor is placed in an uncomfortable sitting position, and we have recorded the whole recording with minimal breaks, with very little sleep or mercy for our poor narrator.
Hear the genuine crack under pressure, and emotion heating up as the story heads towards it's horrible conclusion.

The Fall of The House of Usher

As a prelude to our upcoming storytelling segment, we discuss the importance of fairy tales and children's stories, and their meaning to us as adults.
A majority of this philosophy reflects the soul of Wire Elves and our listeners who bring imagination and magic into their daily lives.
