"Melbourne based Rami Imam is here with his first release on his new label "PONDA". Having previous releases on Waze & Odyssey's 'Street Tracks' imprint, Made In Paris' 'Upon Access' and followed up by Barbour's label 'Isolabella', he is now starting to self-release and is making waves with the first single titled 'Good Morning Senor Ronnie'.

An ambient soundscape comprised of ethereal pads and mystifying noises quickly introduces the world that Rami is trying to emulate. Catchy melodies played by soft synths accompanied by the ringing continuous pluck really creates a tension in the track putting you in a state of trance. The question of hope engages the listener from the get go and really pulls you in to see how that will be answered down the line. The rhythms of Africa can be clearly heard with the percussive elements shining through Rami's production.
