Born in Santos and raised in São Paulo, and having participation in the "Nomumbah" project (among others) and releases by labels "Strictly Rhythm", "Yoruba Records" and Sonar Kollektiv, Andre Torquato returns to D-edge Records on its first post-pandemic release on the label. "Cena 6" (the name refers to sessions created on his drum machine) brings house and depth with classic and modern elements. More raw texture, firm grooves that match every dance floor.

3024-FYE2 (RELEASE DATE 27-11-2018) Yak presents his first solo EP on the 3024 imprint! Three intricate percussive excursions showcasing this man's amazing talent. Rhodes Island is a vibey drum 'n bass number with dazzling edits and beat trickery, reminding us of the legacies of Nucleus and Paradox while still sounding extremely 2018. Don Greno is a more garage influenced roller that has been doing the rounds as a dub on Rinse. Ocean Floor is a sluggish, dubbed out drum groove perfect for those late night early morning vibrations.

Nobody was getting out. The rules has been issued and so help him they would be obeyed, even if it meant blowing the whole damn thing down to the ground. Looking outwards from windows, people watched from little rooms as the outside world slowly began to fade and fall away. Day by day the loneliness grew, like a monster in the room. The green spaces in which they'd use to gather, run and dance were now empty and deserted. A few stragglers were left behind but they wouldn't last long. 

Dj Physical is set to release a gorgeous new EP via Deviant Episode. This track is rather aptly titled given the current set of circumstances. This tracks called "Lock Down".

We welcome back yet again our good friends and talented producers Local Options. This is their sixth release with us and I couldn't be more proud and excited to feature this glorious 3 track pack. Frank and Chris always seem to blend their love of tech, deep and soulful in each track and they always showcase a mastery of production skills. I am thankful for their craftsmanship and I hope you enjoy all three of these tracks as much as I do.

Since their formation in London in 1976, the members of Wire have maintained and advanced a musical project which treats the creative potential of a rock band as a fluid, amorphous medium. As removed from self-conscious intellectualism as they are from the inherent conservatism of much rock music, Wire employ their unique, endlessly restless and risk-taking creativity to question every aspect of songwriting, recording and performance. They delight and disturb in equal measure, troubleshooting the circuitry of perfect pop, or patrolling the limits of focused experimentalism. In terms of working together as Wire, the group's members disbanded in 1980, reformed in 1985, disbanded in 1992 and reformed for the second time in 2000. Such sabbaticals from their career as Wire have served to sharpen the group's edge and focus, updating the tactics with which they pursue this shared project.
