Emerging labels and established producers, Don Pascal (Afro Atlantic) and Tom Funk (Lazy Robot Records) collaborate as "September Sun" for this two track release. 

With special guests Myele Manzanza on drums and flautist/saxophonist Tamar Osborn adding their signature sound to this Leon Thomas-esque release. 

Harnessing spiritual delicacy and timeless melodies, this debut two track release covers a cross section of Jazz, reminiscent of the 70s, with a contemporary UK edge.

We recently lost one of our greatest composers of modern times: Ryuichi Sakamoto. He’s composed timeless soundtracks, innovated and pioneered so many genres, collaborated with some of the best, founded the synth pop group Yellow Magic Orchestra, and so much more in his 40+ year career. Even if you don’t recognize the name, you’ll recognize his works. This tribute mix touches on some of my favorite pieces by him, from David Bowie and David Byrne soundtracks to modern movies like The Revenant. Hope you enjoy.

The premiere mix comes from a wonderful Istanbul based artist - Ahu. An RBMA alumni, cooperated with Flying Lotus (Roberta Flack), Mr. Beatnick, Emanative, Miles Bonny and many more. She is a frequent guest at the best music festivals - Barcelona Sonar, Southern Soul Festival, Jazzystan, Brainfeeder, Worldwide Festival Sete  and clubs like Plastic People, Boiler Room London, Baltic Room, East Village, Trinity, Nectar and Gilles Peterson’s World Wide Awards.  Her single "Go" came out in July 2019 from Sony Music. She hosted a radio show on worldwide Fm called "Hour of Light " for 6 years with many guests from all over the world. Ahu released her solo  album "Stellar" from Mythstery Records London, in November 2023, called Stellar, "Stellar" got great reviews by many DJs and also played on radios like BBC, FIP and KEXP.
