‘A Good Life’ by The Four Davids is a timeless ditty about the perils of city banking when the ordinary man bites back; the jaunty, mandolin-led track an ideal showcase for Annie Ludford’s plaintiff vocals and melancholy harmonies.

After a low-key release via Wise Dog Records, the single enjoyed spot plays from Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio 2), Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music) and John Kennedy (XFM) and strong support from Martin Winch (BBC Coventry & Warwickshire).

Cardiff 4-piece Fingertrap release ‘Body Popping’, their first single for Wise Dog Records, on 28th October 2016.

With energy and indie pop sass to rival The Hives and The Fratellis, the last 18 months have seen Fingertrap play raucous shows around the UK, with numerous festival appearances including Frankfurt Musikmesse and The Montreux Jazz Festival, and winning two Europe-wide competitions for their live performances run by industry giants Casio and Shure.

The infectious groove of new single ‘Body Popping’ tells of vocalist Sion's first ever night out drinking in Cardiff, and the teenage insecurities of dancing in front of other people.

With fans such as Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals), Andrew Shay (Kids In Glass Houses) and Chris Kimsey (Producer, Rolling Stones) and the backing of Wise Dog Records and Integrity Publishing, the boys now look to build on previous radio support from Nation Radio Wales, Radio Cardiff, GTFM and BBC Radio Wales.

Bristol-based Anglo/Swedish collective Hang Massive released new single ‘Upon The Star’ via Wise Dog Records on 11th November 2016 in the midst of a European tour promoting third album ‘Distant Light’.

Both the new album and single feature the stunning vocals, songwriting & Hang composition of Victoria Grebezs, and lush electronica and production of Morgan Davenport.

Victoria is a long-time collaborator with Hang Massive and one of the few female Hang artists in the world.  She brings her powerful and melodic style of playing to the Hang Massive group, joining them on tour this year as a featured artist. Her music under the stage name 'Storia' is a mystical fusion of ethereal vocals, dreamy lyrics, Hang and world instruments and she is about to embark on an exciting new solo project. ‘Fall & Break’ is the debut single by Midlands-based singer songwriter Faye Bagley, recently signed to UK independent Wise Dog Records.

Busker by day and solo artist by night, Faye’s talent was first spotted on the streets of Birmingham by Circle Studios’ owner/producer Trevor Gibson, and the pair have worked together on developing Faye’s songwriting for the last 18 months.

With a powerful vocal, soaring harmonies and influences from the worlds of both country and folk, ‘Fall & Break’ has drawn comparisons with the sounds of Stevie Nicks and early Natalie Merchant. Lyrically, Faye describes ‘Fall & Break’ as a real life story that she carries with her "not as a burden but as a badge of honour".

The video for ‘Fall & Break’, featuring the acting debut of GB Olympic medallist Sally Walton, shows Faye playing in her natural habitat and a graphic depiction of how what’s going on in a person's head may not always match reality.

Faye plays regularly throughout the Midlands and has spent the last year playing gigs and small festivals to a growing fan-base across the UK and busking to pay her way.
