We are delighted to welcome the artists Jana Sleep, Laima Adelaide, Polygonia and Emika Elena for this first volume accompanied by the visuals of Daisy de Montjoye.

In this EP composed entirely by women, each track bears an evocative female name. They take us on a sonic and cultural odyssey through time by inviting us to navigate the mind towards distant mystical lands.

The first track takes us gently towards the beginning of the journey. Jana Sleep's Šahrzād bewitches us with its hypnotic motif played by string instruments and accompanied by soft percussion. An atmosphere that conjures up in the imagination Persian landscapes, enigmatic and phantasmal places where nature and vanished civilisations collide.

Then comes Laima Adelaide's Circe with its aquatic, almost acidic sounds and dreamy layers. Both hypnotic and catchy, this second track prepares our ears and mind, gradually but energetically, for the rest of the journey.

Mariana Trench by Polygonia then guides us into oceanic depths, off the coast of our imagination. Rhythmic and mischievous, it awakens the ear with its psychedelic effects and swaying tempo.

Finally, Emika Elena's last track Stella incites a trance from the very first notes with its shamanic cadence. Like a ceremonial closing, its tribal rhythm and percussion recall forms of primitive music, resonating through wood
metal and hide.

Our love story with Jérémie Kagan's Solarythm project is the core reason why we opened up the floodgates of Navigare Audio some years ago. It's not a secret that our roots are within the global festival culture, more related to the tropical beaches of Goa rather than an urban clubbing environment. We burn Palo Santo, we drink the Kool-Aid and we dance barefeet like wobbly plastikmen under the stars. This is our manners, take it or leave it, and our intention is, and has always been, to gather likeminded souls with whom we share this musical vision and way of life.

Earlier this year this young producer from Nantes, France, reached out to us, presenting his appreciation for our project and simply gave us an offer we couldn't refuse. Five excellent cuts, elegantly balancing cosmic psychedelia with a focused and suggestive technoid foundation. We're proud to present the highly musical talent of Solarythm with you.

When the vision of our label came to us some years ago it was clear that our intention was to build a bridge between the worlds of psychedelic trance music and techno. We hail from the forest dance floors, majestic outdoor locations and the mysterious venues remote and far away from the cities. So when we later on came in contact with Zoltan Vajda, also known as Kalumet, the pieces really did fit. His track "Abyss Drum" blew our minds instantly when we heard it and was the first track we picked for our first compilation. Very soon he will release a highly potent piece of psychedelic techno on our label and we're fortunate to be able to work with him. A good hearted veteran in the psychedelic scene who's performed all over the world for many years and has a magical touch on music. The honour and pleasure is ours. 

So for this chapter of the Navigare Audio podcast please welcome Kalumet who has compiled and mixed a set for us where he presents his own music and does include the upcoming EP "Exhale" as well.
