[i wrote this song to describe how it feels to have gender dysphoria and the difficulties that come with it like not going outside and being inside all the time due to fear of being harmed or harassed. the hook mainly refers to how a few years ago i was living a life that might have been fun at the time but was not good for me nor healthy and realizing how i didnt really have control over my life and was a slave to drugs and escapism.]
