In dedication to Halfdan Ragnarsson, a legendary viking who was king to the throne of Northumbria(now known as Northern England). Halfdan was also a pretender to the throne of Dublin.

Nostalgia (Nocturnal Depression Cover)

Here is another collaboration that I, Withering Wood, have done with Tilvat, this time an original piece. Tilvat had created a splendid instrumental blending both black metal and synth together where I created the lyrics and I did the vocals. 

The song, Lurking Shadows, is about depression and being misunderstood in a modern society. In the lyrics, I do refer paganism as a lurking shadow since it's been misunderstood and forgotten by many people. I will say that the lyrics do lean very more on the depressive side than the pagan side of things since depression can be experienced by anyone.
