Hello everyone I'm Alex Gomes. I'm a music producer and storyteller. 

Today I bring you With Gomes Productions first podcast. It's been an exciting couple of weeks getting WGP up and going. And although the work is tough at times, I love it. So we already have had our first blog post and vlog post here on the site. And recently I publicized some of early work with music, dance and cinema. So from here on out we just keep growing, creating, collaborating and innovating.

Podcast #1: There's A First Time For Everything

In today's podcast we talk about the voice. The instrument everyone has on them at all times. I talk about some of ways the voice  can communicate and how important it is to use the voice for all of its worth, whether that be in belting out a ballad or conversing with a dear friend. The voice is a powerful tool and instrument. Let’s all strive to use it to our best ability; so the world can sound richer and fuller.

I'm excited to share this podcast episode with you. An episode exploring collaboration; what it means and does for projects, innovation and building projects. In today's episode in our creative conversation segment: the episode titled: "The Power of People, The Power of Collaboration" I riff with three awesome dudes; Jay Nova, Patrick Straus and David Webster on thoughts and conversations on collaborating with people.
 
We talk about things such as what does collaboration mean to you, the strength and beauty behind collaboration, how to best present risky ideas, our thinking on it as a concept and how it relates to how collaboration shapes the world and realizes shared goals/ deep vision and more.
 
Jay Nova; a smooth and forward thinking rnb artist. Along with Patrick Straus and David Webster are recent college grads who work together in a young urban non-profit called; Feed The Streets USA;  a young urban energized non-profit working to make differences in the space of homeless support, food, nutrition and innovative education.
 
I recently fell in love with the podcast format because of the parallels between in film in how  I tell stories with them and the raw traits of human expression found in the format. Me being a creative producer of visuals, sound and movement I live for the ways art forms relate and inspire/draw from one another and I see a lot similarities for I how I look at a piece or stories are created in both podcasts and in film.
