Quicksand marks a new era for Within Sight. The song was recorded, produced and mixed by their guitarist Anthony Corso. The song has a distinctive sound similar to Wage War and old school A Day to Remember, while keeping the fresh Within Sight signature sound of several vocalist (Grant Evans, Sean Trenda, and Alex Theesen).

Quicksand

Within Sight is an American hard rock/metal band from Vancouver, WA best known for having clean lyrics, a positive message and heavy upbeat instruments. The band was formed by Grant Evans(Guitars/Vocals) and Steven Carlson(Guitars) in November 2012.

 

The band has released three LP's, two EP's, seven singles and eleven music videos year to date.

 

Through hard work, self-management and booking, Within Sight has come a long way since playing their first show in March 2014. Within Sight played approximately 60 shows locally and regionally from March 2014 to June 2016 including winning the Warped Tour Portland, OR battle of the bands in 2015 and playing Warped Tour Portland, OR. The band shortly after booked their first multi state tour. This was a turning point for the band and from June 2016 to present the band has booked roughly 4 national tours a year stretching across 13 states including WA, OR, CA, ID, MT, ND, SD, UT, NV, AZ, NM, OK, TX and internationally in British Columbia.

 

In May 2019 Within Sight signed with Distilled Entertainment (management). The band is now working diligently with management on booking the next tour. You can expect to see Within Sight open for globally known rock and metal acts such as Atreyu, All That Remains, Soulfly, Unearth, Attila, Escape The Fate, Of Mice and Men, Ice Nine Kills, Memphis May Fire etc.

 

Within Sight is one of those bands that can capture any crowd with visible passion and charisma. One phrase you can almost guarantee to hear from Grant during a live performance is "Our main goal tonight is to have a great time, if you're not having a great time we are not doing our job".
