Well as luck would have it, Greybeard consistently did relationships wrong...until he found his woman.  After getting married, he learned that by always courting the wrong way, this song came to life in a "Check Please" type scenario. Inspired by a wooden sign on the side of a merchant’s shop in famous Gruene, Texas when Greybeard and his wife got out of the house for a motorcycle ride. The saying was simple, “Together is my favorite place to be.”  He thought about that quote the entire ride home. He was on his Harley with his best friend, lover, confidant and biggest fan; all while the wind blew through his hair. He thought about the years fighting in the war and his Green Beret brothers how many many times, only God knows how they got out alive.  So whether it’s with true friends, Family or in Heaven, TOGETHER should always be your favorite place to be.

This track was a message of heartbreak from a very talented musician, friend and Army brother of Greybeard’s.  He unexpectedly lost the love of his life, soulmate, best friend, travel partner and his absolute better half, if not his better whole. 

After reading his poem about her, the Lord placed on my heart to develop the tune to showcase the love, lost, heartbreak and uncertainty of the future that is in store for him. 

This song is not about Without Image at all, but the man who lost his compass, his rock, his world.

Rain (Extended Radio Version) is the year long collaboration from Without Image and WavStream Live studios to bring a fresh sound and production to the often requested pre-released song "Rain."  

Rain tackles the issues of Men's Mental Health based on Societal norms when it comes to men being vulnerable with others and how they get attacked when they do.  Rain is a song that highlights the suffering in solitude with only a rainstorm to camouflage the tears of a man.

Ride Out

This track is based on the true story of a few Green Berets and other service members.  They met the "Girl of their dreams" and were going to spend their lives together.  On 9/11/2001, that all changed because they volunteered to fight against the people who killed Innocent Americans in a heinous terrorist attack.  

When a few of the boys came home, the woman who "supposedly" loved them was pregnant by another dude and would beg for forgiveness and want to be taken back.  These men, who just experienced the worst the world had to offer was then crushed by their women cheating on them, when all they wanted to do was hold them again.

Many of these men, continue to kill themselves by trying to drink these disgusting women out of their memories.

This song is dedicated to all of the brothers who have taken their lives due to numbing themselves to the pain and betrayal of the women the men fought for.

A song to my daughter.  Most divorced fathers go through hell, ensuring their daughters know they are loved and cherished.

The first verse is factual events between my daughter and I. The second and 3rd verses are experiences from two other Green Beret dads and their daughters. 

Seeing them grow up is never easy, and this song is for all the fathers who fight for their little girls.

"Real Men don't cry!"  This is mostly true because real men must be the rock in their work, family and personal relationships.  There are only two times that men should cry in public; Funerals and Childbirth.  Men don't mind the rain as it hides our pain.

Rain

This song is inspired by a Vietnam Veteran who Greybeard met in the early 1980s while walking to school.  He was homeless and chose to be.  He served many tours in Vietnam and loved the mercy, conviction and humanitarian work that he did; all while fighting in hell.  Greybeard asked him, "why do you live outside then?"  He said, "Because I don't want to be inside.  People in jail, business and oppression all live within four walls.  No matter how pretty those walls stand, they are still the same prison; and I do not want to live that way."  This Veteran collected his VA check every month, he bathed, ate good and didn't have any bills at all.  He may have been the most Free Man that Greybeard ever met.

Our ability to write songs about war is due to years of deployments to several war zones.
