I got "sunshine" cause I made it that way. I wrote this track freestyle in my living room when I needed to find the Light amidst a deep depression. I use hip-hop beats layered with harp and piano melodies as thematic elements paired with the lyrics, as well as vocal interjections to convey the overall mood and messaging. The creation of "sunshine" helped me find my way to the Light and I hope it can help others. The extended outro is inserted as a happy coincidence and is a nod to a family inside joke, "don't chug the sipping bourbon," both a literal declaration and figurative advice to take life slowly and create your sunshine.
