Wits End has been cranking out amazing pop songs in the classic mold of The Kinks, Byrds, Replacements, Neil Young and Big Star for years. Longtime San Fernando Valley buddies singer/guitarist Tom Robinson and bassist Joe Peters, brought together by a shared love for the great tradition of guitar-based rock songwriting and energy, got their band off the ground and played every dingy bar and pizza parlor in town. 

The combination of sophisticated songwriting with direct emotions, rockin' arrangements and punk-edged performance sparked interest in unexpected places, getting regular airplay for a year in Brazil. The songwriting core of Robinson and Peters continued to progress through two albums in the 00's, 'Rut-O-Rama' and 'Play It By Ear'. While exploring different moods and instrumentation, their focus on updating the classic roots of great rock music with lyrics set firmly in the present remained unchanged. 

2015 saw Wits End recording their best record ever, Up To Here, maximizing all the qualities that set them apart: massive hooks, straight-from-the-gut emotions, lyrical and instrumental panache, and a unified yet versatile band sound that perfectly balances the old and the new.
