I was thinking about dogs the other day. Dogs who fetch sticks in particular and how excited they become when someone throws the stick for them. I was thinking that it must be like a knee-jerk reaction. Flying stick? Must fetch! Then I thought about some of my own annoying knee -jerk reactions. Like trying to fix someone else's problems. Trying to provide solutions for everything wrong under the sun. :)  This song is about that.

Folk Indie - BABY HUMM - by Leilani Roosman

Lenny Kelleher (born 15 January 1975) is an Irish singer-songwriter. Kelleher was born and grew up in the city of Cork,Ireland. It was here that he honed his song writing skills and created waves as bass player with his band The Riff. The Riff released their first and only album "Play something we know" in 2004 to some critical attention.
In late 2004 Kelleher moved to Arizona where he continues to write and record. Kelleher's music is in the contemporary, folk rock, singer-songwriter mode. His primary instrument is the acoustic guitar but his songs regularly feature rock arrangments and electric instrumentation. Despite the move to more complexed music, Kelleher has used small scale, often home based recording methods and equipment and aspoused to a do-it-yourself approach to music production.

Ace of Spades-The BelleFleurs

WIVES&servants is a family band that's been around for ... ooh no, don't remind me how old we are! We started when Poppy, my sister, brought home her boyfriend, Tim Haigh, and we started writing songs together, soon to be joined by Huw Pryce, my best friend. That was and is the core of the band.
Along the way we've been joined by my wife Leilani Roosman (also on Sound Cloud), Jay Stapely (yes, THAT Jay Stapely AKA Dammit Music on Sound Cloud), Catherine Mills and, at various times by Kirsty Jones, Maria Philips, Keith Carter Harris, Campbell Armer, Joseph Brown, Sally Fairburn and Peter Smith. Tim and I mostly write the songs and Poppy mostly sings them, accompanied by more or less everyone else.

We've been trying to work out the genre for what we write and Poppy came up with Cabaret Rock: songs that are clearly in the rock idiom but where the lyrics are barbed, complex, clever and really, really important.
