Biografía del artista:
Wixru Layka proviene del Aymara, un idioma ancestral de los pueblos originarios de América del Sur. La música representa un canal de conexión profunda, un medio para abrir espacios de sensibilidad, expansión y conciencia. Cada set es una experiencia sonora que trasciende lo físico, cuidadosamente construida con una estética psicodélica, melódica, analógica y espiritual, con especial atención al detalle y al respeto por el sonido. Con la búsqueda constante de empalmar diferentes sonidos en un mismo momento, integrando Psy Trance, con Twilight e influencias de Forest.
Nacida en Buenos Aires en 1993, se formó como DJ en Valencia, España, y comenzó a tocar en 2019 en la escena de Buenos Aires, luego de formarse en mezcla con Javier Bussola y en producción con Morsei. A lo largo de su recorrido, compartió cabina con artistas como Mad Maxx, Alien Chaos, Avan7, entre otros, y participó en distintos festivales en Argentina, Chile y Brasil.
Layka encuentra inspiración en el arte, la naturaleza y el activismo por los animales y las causas justas. Concibe la música como una herramienta de transformación, capaz de expandir la conciencia y despertar emociones profundas. A través de su sonido, busca invitar a una reflexión sobre el ser y el entorno, creando experiencias que trascienden lo físico y nos conectan con nuestra sensibilidad. Y así transformarnos.
