House In Solitude - 09/15/17

So, I just want to start off by saying that this entire mix is made up of tracks from www.soundcloud.com/cheshire (the producer) and The Cat Empire (The Band). I did not make any of this music myself, just merely fused these two incredibly talented artists together!!
If you like what you hear, please remember to like, follow, and support these artists on their respective FB, and SC pages.

It's funny because, usually I'll take an artist and use tracks from their entire discography, but Cheshire's new album "Smokescreens and Somersaults" had me going against the grain. I couldn't get over how incredible this album was in its entirety, top to bottom, through and through. All the punchy bass kicks, the straight funk, the vocals, AND THE SAXXXX!!! Awwwhhh! Just straight knocked it outta the park with regards to what my ears want to hear. This is exactly the type of stuff I can listen to on repeat for two weeks straight all day! (Which I did, before coming to the conclusion that I was going to use "The Cat Empire" for the vocals). There was absolutely no question in my mind, after hearing this album, which tracks would make up the mix. I felt I couldn't leave any out from this release so I just decided to mix the entire album and throw some Kitty Cats in there for some extra spice ;)

So without further adieu, I present to you, The Cheshire Cat Empire Mix!!

(I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it and prepping for its release!!)

Here's a Freestyle mix from just over a year ago, when I was prepping my set to play for a PRIDE Party. Aside from it not being fully what I wanted to throw down that evening, I managed to still have the record button on, & I like the way it turned out anyways.
