China. Home of in no particular order; the terracotta army, martial arts, a particularly impressive wall, Feng Shui and most notably - for us at least - stonkingly good electronic music. Yes, there's no doubt about it, the relatively unheralded Chinese music scene is enjoying a purple patch at the moment and with today's give away we feel we're very much in the right place at the right time, chancing upon an artist at the peak of their powers.

So who are blabbering on about we hear you cry? English-born, Shanghai-based producer Jamie Charlton is the answer. Soon to be much better known by his musical moniker, Swimful (at least outside of the Charlton household) the uber talented ex-pat first came to our attention in this month's edition of Ballantine's limited edition Under The Label print and e-zines, which seek to uncover the untold stories of unique record labels across the world and the scenes that they embody.

The second issue of UNDER THE LABEL sees Ballantine’s head to China to explore Shanghai’s SVBKVLT label and not one to miss out on expanding our reach and shining a spotlight on emerging talent we just couldn't resist getting involved as we nabbed Swimful's thought provoking edit of Fluke's modern day grime classic, 'Wifey Riddim', as an exclusive free download.
