As a producer, I'm crafting a fresh, unexpected take on house music - specifically jackin' house. This new approach steps away from the usual soul, funk, and disco samples and instead dives into the iconic sounds of pop legends. 'Spontaneous lyrics' is an entirely new production that blends the unmistakable voices of Chaka Khan and Phil Collins with Grace Jones' iconic bass riff. It’s a bold reinterpretation that pays homage to these giants while pushing the boundaries of house music into new territory.

Boom, here it is – the remix I practically broke my back over to get just right. Man, I've partied hard to this track, straight off the legendary 'Licensed to Ill' album – one of the first vinyls I ever bought, along with Michael Jackson's 'Bad' and LL Cool J’s 'Bigger and Deffer' – haha. Now, I’ve wrapped it up in a fresh tech-house vibe. If it suits you, skip work and crank up the volume. Kick it!

Alright, it finally arrived – I grabbed Rick James' Lucy's Rap, threw in a slice of Flash & the Pan, and gave it a playful jackin' house facelift. Expect some punkfunk attitude and a stompin’ groove that hits like the last train out. Next stop? Wherever Rick & Lucy take you.

Eddie Levert from The O'Jays once said Darryl Hall had more soul in his voice than most black singers – and honestly, I couldn't agree more. So, I grabbed their track, chopped it up, added some vocal samples and a house groove with a massive bassline that gives the track the punch it deserves. Soul, rhythm & flow, all dialed up. Amp it up, let it ride, and see if you CAN go for that.

I made this remix with the utmost respect for Nick, both as a musician and as a person. His music, art, and personality, along with the way he navigates life’s challenges and overcomes adversity, have deeply inspired me. As a huge fan of his work, I wanted to bring something new to 'Tupelo' while pouring my heart and soul into it. I created a house version that feels different yet remains true to my deep love for the song - one I played endlessly on my Walkman, in bed, often with tears in my eyes. Hope you enjoy it!

This isn’t just a song - it’s a sonic protest, reimagined for the dancefloor, where beats and brutal truths collide. It’s a wake-up call that dares you to move and reflect. Play it loud.

The War

The Truth came to light by blending interviews with Matt Johnson and Billy Joel, as they reflected on the evolution of the music industry. From there, I wove in samples from NY State of Mind, Heartland, and some signature Steely Dan guitar licks. A loopy, jackin' house groove, topped with a French filter house twist, takes it to another level. This track speaks volumes. Now turn it up and get ready to move. Case Closed.

The Truth

'That’s How We Roll' was born out of my love for the Fun Lovin’ Criminals and their unmistakable swagger. I dove into the iconic Scooby Snacks, chopped it up, and layered in fragments from Tarantino and a Sky News interview. Hearing Huey Morgan casually drop 'That’s how we roll' was the spark I needed. With a dirty bassline and lots of tight samples, I built a house groove that - hopefully - nails their vibe. They don’t follow trends, and neither do I. This track isn’t just a nod, it’s a full-on celebration. Turn it up, and let’s roll!
