Here is some albeit it somewhat crude audio that someone was gracious to capture when I went back to Chicago last summer for a reunion with the guys from my high school band. I formed this band with Brian Reese in 1975 with Jack Cook on drums, Gordon Patriarca on bass and Jim Patriarca on guitar. These are some of the same tunes we played in 1975 at the Battle of the bands at Bogan HS. We practiced the same tunes five days a week for three months because we were determined to win. The five of us managed to do just that, blowing the doors off the place. Gordon, and Jack are currently professional musicians as is Jim as he still does studio work. I’ve been playing for 40 years now and counting, am currently looking to join another band and with any luck, in 30+ years when I’ve played all I can play, I hope to be half as good as my buddy Jim. Brian still sings occasionally in his shower, where he can’t hurt anybody. :) It was truly great to be back with my old friends and relive just a bit the place where it all started.
