(The Concept Behind the Song)

“Dance Lil’ E-Mail” centers on a guy who cooks up an unprecedented strategy to seduce the object of his affection.  He enlists his e-mail to act as his courier, in other words, as his digital spokesman.  Basically, he tells his e-mail how to charm the pants off the girl.  The song uses internet terminology to make a series of sly erotic double entendres.

I believe this is a first.

Never before has there been a love song where the singer has the audacity to appoint his e-mail to act as his surrogate.

It’s a song that celebrates digital terms as a kind of sexually resonate poetry.

Dance, L'il Email

A motivated artist and musician, I started taking an interest in music at age 8 by learning the guitar from my grandfather, making me the fourth generation on my maternal side of the family to play the instrument.  Subsequently, I took clarinet lessons while in junior high and taught myself how to play the piano at age 14, thereafter supplementing my amateur composition and performance skills with intermediate and advanced study courses at Chapman University.  I have since written numerous songs, begun work on two independent musical comedies and one film, and have begun teaching young children that gifted with musical talent to encourage their growth and interest.  I also am capable of writing orchestral arrangements of American jazz standards and popular ballads.
