“Dysfunctionalism” marks Survival Paradox’s debut 12” release in the form of a cerebral deep dive into relentless confined aggression. The nearly 40 minute vinyl + bonus digital tracks crawl under the listener’s skin with its deceptively simple hypnotic rhythms. This carefully crafted LP unveils its complexities by spreading into every cell of the timbres and sequences within, fusing elements ranging from minimal techno, old-school Goa Trance and late 80’s/early 90’s EBM. “Dysfunctionalism” can best be described as a kind of Hypnotic Body Music. Chris Shape aka Cristian Camporesi an Italian producer, live performer and sound designer for over 25 years. In 2004 he started a collaboration with dj Francesco "Franz“ Spazzoli in the critically acclaimed electro duo Franz & Shape, where Chris Shape could give vent to its Synth-Wave and EBM roots. They played live for almost a decade in the best clubs and festivals around the world and also have cooperated with: 2 Many Djs, Tiga, Jagz Kooner, Motor (Bryan Black), David Carretta, GD Luxxe, The Hacker, Gesaffelstein, Julien K, Perspects, Dirk Da Davo (Neon Judgement), Mount Sims, and many others. They made an album on Relish rec. “Acceleration” in 2007 and lots of singles & remixes for different labels such as: NovaMute, Turbo Recordings or Citizen Records. After some years spent in “research” and a new work as a music publisher, Chris Shape decided to start a solo career by doing just what he likes: Techno Body Music. "Eat the bankers" was his first EP: a perfect example of powerful “not compromised” mix between techno, electro and ebm with a very special guest: Bryan Black (Black Asteroid), who gives his voice in “Eat the bankers” track. This great artist collaborates now with the young catalan producer Dave Inox discovered on Unknown Pleasures Records french label. Their EP of 3 powerful tracks will soon burn the dancefloors of all the world.

Short bio:

WLDV starts its activity in 2012 DJing and creating music based on synthesizers and inspired by the electronic music of the 70s, 80s and early 90s like Italo Disco, EBM, New Beat, Techno… with clear influences of the B movies, sci-fi, horror and fetish stuff.

He released vinyl and cassettes on labels such as Giallo Disco, Bordello A Parigi, Waste Editions, Violette Szabo, Soil Records, Aspecto Humano, Eclectic Reactions, Cold Beats, Fill Lex Records, Infidel bodies, The Hiddens, Patch Records, 4mg Records, Italo Moderni… And many more. 
He also played several live and dj set performances around Europe and North America.

WLDV hosted and played as resident at the Vocoder Club parties from 2014 to 2019 and drives also the label Eclectic Reactions since 2014 together with Radithor.
