Josephine's deep yet warm sound has been with us for several years now. Last year, at the Afterhour Sounds showcase at Kater, Arkadiusz met her and they chatted for a long time. Coincidentally, she also performed at her friends' showcase from Istanbul that evening at the Hopper floor. He decided to invite her to our series without further ado, as she plays a sound that we rarely have, yet still carries the typical, and above all, original Afterhour Sounds deep down. But enough words now. Turn on the music, turn off the world.

This gig was special for me. A challenge, an incentive, a reward. Because for this gig, I had to strip bare; with every inch of my naked skin, I had to share something of the story of the relationship between me and my body. I want to love my body, every pound, every wrinkle, every freckle, every mole. But I live in a world that has been telling me since I can remember that I am not beautiful the way I am. A colossal industry has built itself around this feeling and makes enormous profits from women suffering as they look in the mirror. So before my gig, I went into the forest and meditated. I touched every part of my naked body and told that part how beautiful it is and how grateful I am for it. And so I went on stage. The result was a set full of joy, because it came with the permission I was able to give myself that my body is allowed to feel unconditional and boundless joy. Thank you, Danielle, for creating spaces with your unique Naked Tea Party that make this release and liberation possible for oneself and with each other. Thank you, Yves, my Wumana sisters, and the Lichtung team at Garbicz for holding the space for me in such a wonderful way. And thanks to all my friends from around the world who met naked on this dance floor in the forest.

lunar ascent. after grounding us with a tender spoken word to Mother Earth and the mountain of Türa, @lunardrift lights the fuse. the häxehusli shudders, wood creaking, candles flickering — and suddenly, the cabin detaches from the forest floor. hypnotic sounds propel us into orbit: deep pulses, shimmering atmospheres, grooves spiraling like stardust. bodies sway in low gravity, tethered only by rhythm. by the end, we are no longer earthbound — we’re drifting softly across the surface of the moon ⋆.˚ ☾ .⭒˚

What a privilege to play the good morning set for an important day on which two amazing people celebrating their love and the love for their friends on this beautiful weekend.

My goal was to ease everyone gently into what would become an incredible day. Started with those soft, mellow tracks to let people wake up naturally, then gradually built the energy to properly get those sleepy spirits moving.
The setting was super cute - right there poolside, watching people literally jump in the water to wake up and find their groove. There’s something special about being part of that transition from peaceful morning vibes to full celebration mode.

This set captures that whole journey - from those gentle wake-up moments to everyone coming alive and ready to celebrate.
