Street Studio India- Pre Mic Bop- Youth On Record

Introduction- We received a grant from Denver Arts and Venues to help creators find their voice. We invited founder of Beats By Girlz Erin Barra to lead a collaborative song writing session highlighting Sonic Prosody.

Methods- We defined a BPM of a happy song, characteristics of melody, sound type and feeling to create an outline of the idea for the song. Using Live individuals came up and added loops using Push 2 using the defined characteristics of the song we envisioned. 

Results- a song that is upbeat and fun!

Discussion- Defining the wants of the song and using that as a framework for the collective allowed for us to define and quickly get started with the song. This is was the 2nd in a series of workshops.
