No bones about it, SERENADE AT THE SKULL PARADE is a back-to-basics ode to death, harkening our tried and true formula. An aging single -mic/single-take recording, then a production blitz. 

This song pairs well with the observation of skulls, skeletons, and other gloomy contemplations. As Alan Watts suggests - may that lead to some acceptance of death and creative freedom for all. Happy Halloween!

"Dogs" is rooted in a tasty bass riff Tyler had banging around in his noggin for years. He and Pete knocked out some mean interpretations throughout time and space. I was recently able to capture some garage jam audio during a long overdue reconvening of some mad prairie dwellers and tinker with it in Logic.

"It is known if one ventures too deep into the wild nettles on All Hallow's Eve they shall encounter creatures, specters, and certain doom. Only one has returned, a noble lord from Rival's Tyde with many tales to tell. 

In a pugilistic bout for survival the lad bashed an ogre before slaying a poisonous scorpion twice his size. Bloody and battered this fearless scamp was accosted by 200 year old undead general and his gangrenous canine familiar. Only by losing the wretched beasts in the deep thicket of nettles did he escape with his life. 

The Gods only know what presently lurks on that wild forbidden territory... "
