The Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month Luncheon was held on Wednesday, 3/6. 

Brittany Coon, Public Outreach Coordinator for the Knox County Board of Developmental Disabilities visited The Morning Thing to celebrate this year's award winners.

Brittany shares some facts about this special months, plus an update on the special events happening throughout March.
She shares highlights from the luncheon including a special panel of families that have been impacted by the Knox DD Programs.

Individual Spotlight Award Recipients - Darian Decamp and Tarynn Ball.  
Community Partner Winners - Kenyon College Athletics and Centerburg Church of Christ.  
Employer of the Year - Knox County Engineer’s Office 
Dedication Award Winner - Colleen Frazee
Local Hero Award winners - Tanner Cooper-Risser with the OSU Extension of Knox County
