Wintering [Remix]

Phil says ‘this song was written after I was musing on subjects to write songs about and said out loud ‘I’ve done love’. My wife rightly  responded with some scorn to the idea that you could complete love and this prompted me to write ‘Another Love Song’’. The song bounces along on ukulele and guitar. The guitar parts are provided by the great Kevin Farrell and give the tune an almost country feel. The lyrics are celebratory and uplifting and make the song a lovely sound track as we move out of Winter towards Spring.

The B side is a new mix of ‘Wintering’, which Phil wrote in 2020 when in lockdown, partially inspired by Kathryn May’s book of the same name. Both songs were mixed and mastered by Lynn Carol Monk at Wobbly Music’s Bakehouse studios.
