Bob and I were taking a break during a jam session.  Landed at Coopers Ale House in Lake City WA (the picture).  While we were there, the bartender (Kathleen) got a phone call that her Aunt had passed away.  Right when we got back we laid down this simple yet wonderful riff in 2-guitar style.  This is the 3-guitar version where Chuck is hearing it for the first time and feeling it out, then filling in.  We're a bit out of tune, but the impromptu early cut is worth the climb.  Guitar(s) Bob Burns, Chuck Putting and Rod Robinson.
And yeah, it was on "the 12th" of some month 30 or so years ago...

There are no words for the best dog I've ever had - Mabel the Mastiff - So just some "Ooooohh" over and over, with maybe a little "aahhhhh" mixed in...  Shown in the picture just after just she'd passed.  If you've ever had a dog die in your arms, you know it's a humbling and haunting experience.

Drawn from some of the best musicians out there, and 25+ year old cassettes recorded on an even older boombox with a crappy little built-in condenser mic.  Mostly from impromptu jams with the Burns brothers that I sometimes then overdubbed with lyrics and other stuff on an old 4-track recorder.   Some are just solo on various instruments and "whatever" got me in the mood.  Apologies in advance for the quality.
