Stoney Roads / Top Billin Remix Competition (and my entry to it)...  

Actually, this is one of my first tries on housemusic. I used the original acapella-track from the song, but pretty much "the rest of stuff" is played by yours truly... I gotta say, I love the new chordstructure and the overall feeling...! :D

TOP BILLIN: MRTN - SLOW ft. Lovisa Negga (DJ EWOK REMIX)

This intrumental has a nice organic vibe on it, I even picked up my electric guitar and played most of the drums with "an actual drumkit" (electric drums though). And of course, all of "the other stuff" is played by yours truly too, "no samples" on this one... :D

DJ EWOK - Bells (Demo)

I actually started this song about an year ago, played the lead- & rhythmguitars (acustic & electric) and some of the other stuff back then, but still felt something was missing. It puzzled me, I really liked the chorus, but the verse wasn't doing it for me. Now, finally, one year after, I got it finished. Yei!! :D

Everything is played live, no samples, new additions are some livedrums (home with electronic Roland drumset) and additional tracks, organs, piano and etc (Played and mixed the stuff this weekend on tour, sittin in a car with a laptop, headphones and a small midikeyboard, haha)... I'm still thinking of adding some more stuff on it, maybe a small "guitarsolo" or something... But Anyway, here's the demoversion of it, enjoy!!!! :D

DJ EWOK - Reggae (Demo)

In this track I actually got inspired of love, must be the spring... ;) So, ummmm, this is dedicated to "that special someone"!

Once again everything is played (no samples), first composed the track with acustic guitar and then just added different layers of instruments, drums, electric bass, organs, some piano, oldschool electric vintage piano and so on, you get the picture...

This is that feelgoodmusic, stuff you can feel in your heart, you now, music that makes you smile. :) So, keep the fire burning in your heart, stay blessed, stay loyal, stay true, stay together, one love...!

This song was fun to do... I was just jamming with my guitar when it hit me, THIS is what I gotta do. So, after playing the guitar-tracks to logic, I added some different layers of instruments (total of 60 tracks, haha...), electricbass, piano, synths and so on, you get the picture...!! So, everythings once again played, by me, enjoy!!! :D

DJ EWOK - Together (Demo)

A Dj / Producer from Helsinki, Finland. :D 

One of the biggest Dj-names in Finland, started DJ:ing around 1994-95, has been touring professionally since 1999 with Rähinä Records artists (Fintelligens, Elastinen, Kapasiteettiyksikkö etc.) and of course "solo" as a club dj too. A Pioneer in finnish turntablism/scratching, first one to "make turntablism and scratching big" in Finland (Fintelligens, first album, Renesanssi - year 2000, the rest is history). After that, recorded countless of albums cointaining his trademark-precise scrathes!! 

After allmost 13 years of tourlife, I'm still loving all this from the bottom of my heart, I feel blessed to be able to do what I love for living. I'm also very gratefull to every fan that I or we (Fintelligens/Rähinä) have, your positive feedback keeps me (and us) going and whats most important, motivated to keep doing this year after year, love u all!

I also feel nowadays very motivated about producing. Like in my dj-sets, I don't believe in genreboundaries. Even though, I've started as a hiphop dj, I'll play (or produce) just that kind of music that I personally like, you know... :) I guess you could call that feelgoodmusic! :D
