A small daily exercise related to Tune of the Month for "November" Moon River  - the idea was to take a short 5 note motive and develop it. I quoted it few times but would not call t "development" - just basic ramen noodle on easy progression. All the stuff was one take - on the spot improvisation.

Daily Jam - Now's The Time Slow Organ Jam 20230903 Take1

Sí Bheag, Sí Mhór is a composition by Turlough O'Carolan (1670 − 1738) famous Irish harp player and composer.
Recorded on Seydel Session Steel in Orchestra S tuning in Low D into TC Helicon vocal interface with SM58 mic. 
 This is the first time recording harmonica and I am a beginner so this is very much work in progress.

MWG Summertime Soloing 2 - A Melodic Minor 20240714  Take3

UDIO generated jazz ballad - very short demo. 
I watched YT video with some songwriter talking about UDIO composing perfect music for his lyrics and decided to give it a try. I asked ChatGPT to rewrite Autumn Leaves (UDIO will refuse lyrics that have copyrights on them). 
Then I used UDIO with tweaked lyrics and asked it to extend the tune couple times. I never worked with the app so all this is few minutes of selecting options blindly. 
I think that melody is a bit bland but otherwise it sounds really good. Which means humans soon will be obsolete

Testing new gears:
JHS All American distortion
Earthquaker Levitation reverb
Rhythm guitar (left channel) has Levitation set to more ambient settings (long reverb with Athmosphere set to 2 o'oclock).
Lead guitar (right channel) has same settings but with switch flipped to short reverb time. 
Guitar are recorded via RockBug amp emulator in Zoom U44 interface.
Bass is in center (recorded with Behringer Bass BDI 21).
No rehearsing - one take on all track - just improvised some basic noodles. Whole deal was to check how Levitation sounds in the mix.

A little bit of trans-Atlantic cooperation - friend from Zurich challenged me with one chorus of blues - I split his track into solo and comping, cleaned it so I could loop comping for few choruses, recorded bass, head and solo. His solo is left in the middle - you will have no problem recognizing - it's the the only guitar part that sounds like blues ;-)

Quick "La Paloma" - take - testing new Reaper plugin. No guitar amp used - I recorded straight to interface then used BIAS FX2 plugin. Only one take - I did not practice so playing is very sloppy. Might try to do clean version one of these days - it is really sweet song composed in 1850 by Spanish composer from Basque region - Sebastien Yradier.

La Paloma Take 1

Testing Mad Professor - just put on my board - put on tabla loop and recorded two tracks - single takes - no preparation - just off the top of my head noodling in E. One semi clean and then lead with a smudge of fuzz dialed in. Wampler EQ and Earthquaker Levitation reverb. Recorded into Evans solid state amp - with preamp signal into ADT cab sim and Zoom interface. PRS with rhythm on single coils and lead on humbuckers.   
I like this take on MIAB (Marshall In A Box) a lot - definitely my kind of dirt pedal - very dynamic - cleans perfectly - harmonies sound just right - even with fuzz on.
