Wolf Choir are a young Guildford-based band made up of Aram Bahmaie, Ed Guillaume-Smith, James Humphrys and Tom Hill. Following their debut EP 'Mountains and Other Nice Things', 'Zoo of the New' finds them reborn, exploring more exciting sonic landscapes. Despite distance (with the boys currently studying and working in Birmingham, Guildford, Bristol and Plymouth) Wolf Choir continue to reconvene in their bedrooms to write and record. The time spent apart, however, has clearly not been detrimental to their sound, with this new record boasting a more mature and rounded feel. While maintaining their distinguishing dreamy layers, this EP is less guitar driven than their first and audibly benefits from their more developed musical abilities and ambitions.
