Beginning with the peak-time stylings of Shady Things, Sabb takes us on a high-tensioned musical journey laden with piercing stabs, melodic vocals and a relentless groove, which all leads perfectly into the opposing B side.  The much more sombre Feelings, hints at Sabb’s Kosovan heritage and fuses balearic undertones with powerful, emotional breakdowns to finish off a truly rounded EP, that will no doubt be heard all through the summer and beyond.

Peculiar Colors EP, the fifth release on the imprint, tows the party line in offering a refreshing electronic take across the board. From the beginning, listeners are greeted with whisperings and as the track builds, beautiful soaring pads that continue throughout. The track’s build though is where I think the magic lies, elements shifting into focus, each with a delicate melodic touch that help push this over the top.
