This album was born as a tribute to the memory of my father, Sandro Caponnetto, author of most of the poems that gave life to this project. I wanted to dedicate this work to his memory through a deeply introspective endeavor, transforming his words into a musical experience that unites our artistic souls.

The musical journey that led to "Pensieri Disgiunti" (Disjointed Thoughts) has its roots in my experience between London, where I studied music, and the Mississippi Delta, where I traveled to rediscover the authentic roots of blues. These influences interweave with the tradition of Italian singer-songwriting, a genre beloved by both my father and myself, creating a sonic bridge between generations and different musical cultures.

The album represents a posthumous dialogue between father and son, where paternal words find new life through melodies that tell the story of our bond. Two tracks in particular, "Eco di un Viaggio" and "Medita," I wrote myself in his memory. "Medita" tells of the last week spent by his side and the nights watching over him, an intimate and painful experience transformed into a musical tribute that preserves those precious and difficult moments.

Artificial intelligence was a valuable ally in this creative process, helping me transform the pain of loss into an act of celebration and memory.

"Pensieri Disgiunti" is not just a collection of songs, but an emotional legacy that preserves my father's poetic heritage. Each track is a chapter of this intergenerational conversation that defies time, allowing his words to continue living and touching new listeners.

In this project, blues guitar merges with evocative atmospheres that recall both London clubs and Mississippi landscapes, creating a sonic fabric that embraces and enhances the depth of the poetic lyrics. 

The result is a work that celebrates the beauty of human connection through art, transforming absence into presence through the power of music.
