Wolfgang Vega is a 3 piece Rock & Roll band from Sacramento. Consisting of Guitar (Mark Saldana) Bass (Nick Knoblock) and Drums (Aaron Guzman) Wolfgang Vega tries to push the limits while focusing on simplicity.

    In 2007, while in a Recording Program, Mark and Nick were chosen to record a song as a final. They recorded a cover of "Fell in Love with a Girl" by The White Stripes. The song was a hit with the instructor and classmates. When the semester ended, Mark approached Nick and asked about starting a band together, and Wolfgang Vega began. 

    Mark and Nick began writing songs together and recording in Nick's apartment. Soon after their music was shown to a mutual friend, Aaron, not knowing that he was a formally trained Drummer. Aaron thankfully mentioned that he played the drums and was quickly welcomed into the band. 

   They all began writing songs as a band and practicing weekly. In September of 2012 they played their first show at The Compound in Oakland, CA; opening for Spider Garage and The Rockonigles. Soon after they played with Spider Garage in Sacramento and are now headlining shows in Sacramento.

   Each member of the band takes from very different influences. From Foo Fighters to Two Door Cinema Club, The Black Keys to Rush, Wolfgang Vega is able to take from these influences and create their own sound.
