A electro remix I made last year of "Tu Es La Force Du Silence" by the Italian band Ataraxia. Taken from their 1991 album "Nosce Te Ipsum". I was watching the obscure French film "The Iron Rose/La Rose De Fer" by Jean Rollin, when I heard Ataraxia in the back of my head. I quickly got on my music program and began to remix this classic neo-gothic song which is so filled with sorrow, dread and power. After several versions and edits I had achieved a nice EBM/Dark Electro remix. I also wanted it to have a touch of that post-punk feel that Ataraxia can do. Enjoy.

While listening to Ataraxia's 2007 masterpiece "Kremasta Nera", this song came on and I remember tapping my foot to an invisible unheard beat. I got excited and began to add various loops, beats, and effects - It was fun! In a matter of 15 minutes I had remixed "Ochram" and played it to a friend. She loved it and told me to send it to the band. I waited a few months and mailed a sort of demo cd of various Ataraxia remixes I had created to the band. I got a response and the band loved it!!! It made my day :)

I always loved this song. I received the "Orlando" MCD in the mail on a rainy day back in 1998 and quickly placed it in my cd player. WOW! I was transported to a canvas from some other time. This song is my absolute favorite from that EP and while playing around with it on my computer I accidently pressed in a beat. I instantly liked it and played around with it more. Soon we had what you are listening to - a remix that makes you fall onto a soft bed while turning to look out the window at the rain dancing on the glass.

One of the very first Ataraxia songs I tried to remix - ever since I heard the sample from Ataraxia's website from before the album "Kremasta Nera" was released, I had always heard a techno beat. What was born was this hardcore Techno mix.
